Tiger Woods

Love him or hate him... you got to respect him on the golf course. Granted he has made some bad decisions but i believe the media has drug him through enough dirt. I'm just glad to see Tiger back on the course.

With that being said... Tiger is currently -4 after the first round. I would personally love to see him win the masters.

any thoughts on todays round? I like the fact that there are some big names on top so far.

If he is within 3-4 shots going into Saturday he will scare a lot of people.

He easily could have been tied for the lead if not have a one shot lead thru 18. He missed 3 putts he should have made within 5 feet.

I was honestly looking for him to shoot in the 70's today anywhere around 70-74 but he definitely surprised some.

Also weather, he played during the worst weather of the day so who knows how that would have affected his game.

All in All I am pumped he is back out there and finally look forward to watching golf again.

I've never seen anything in my life ran into the ground as much as this guy. I usually watch the Masters, but I'm so sick and tired of Tiger I dont know if I can watch. Would love to see Fred Couples or Watson win. Then we can see their 2 minute interview and then they focus on tiger the rest of the time. Geez, I dont remember a Super Bowl or World Series get this much coverage. ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!

Look whether you like the guy or not, he IS golf right now. Ratings have been down in the dumps so far this season without him.

If you take Tiger Woods away from golf you will lose millions of viewers each week worldwide. Would golf survive? Absolutely......there would be another super star rise up eventually but no one in golf right now can match what he's done so far in his career and may never again.

Absolutely phenomenal performance by Lefty. I am a huge Tiger fan and used to thrive of watching Phil choke every tournament, BUT, after watching him the last year and what he has been through and how he has overcome it with class as he normally always does I have a HUGE, HUGE amount of respect for him and will never be able to pull against him again. At the end when it kept showing his wife and then their emotional hug at the end I was getting emotional. There is no way anyone can hate that guy.

As far as Tiger, there is no way one can control those type of outburst IMO. It's a good thing there is no cameras around LPCC when I am constintely hacking it into the woods/pond/road/pool/driving range because it would be ugly. An emotionless Tiger would not be fun to watch. I'm like him, they are blowing it way to far out of proportion. Heck ESPN scrolled across the bottom line as an update "Tiger Woods tells himself he sucks in an emotional outburst while on the 3rd Tee at Augusta" I mean come on give me a break. -11 under and a 4th place finish at the Masters after taking off 4 months is not too shabby.

I guess I can understand driving range if you hook one off of 11 or slice one REAL bad off of 9.

BUT POOL??? That would require one heck of a pull/top off of 10 to accomplish that!

The Pond on #11 used to never enter my mind when I first started playing. I didn't even see it as in play. But since I've gotten a little better, it seems I hit into it about once every 10 times I play trying to get fancy with my shots.
